Jet Blue is having another flight “sample sale” today — November 19, 2009 — only. Flights are from $29-$129 one-way, for travel between December 2 – December 16, 2009 and January 6 – 28, 2010. Ends at 11:59 pm MDT.

It’s been about a month since they had a sample sale. With the blackout dates, these won’t work for Christmas or New Year’s travel, but still some good deals, and finally some flights out of Portland! :)

Expedia just launched a Holiday Kickback promo with a $200 off travel coupon. They had a similar promo in August, but this time you get $200 off a future purchase. Here’s how it works…

Book any roundtrip flight on Expedia.com by December 31, 2009 (for travel through January 3, 2010).
You’ll get a $200 off coupon to use on a flight/hotel combo of 5 nights or more. (for travel January 11 – March 30, 2010). The pre-discounted price has to be at least $1,000.

How is this a good deal? It almost isn’t. ;) But if you’re flying somewhere for the holidays and then plan on escaping the winter weather early next year, then it could be a deal!

Google has teamed up with Virgin America to offer free in-flight WiFi on all Virgin America flights over the holidays — from November 10, 2009 through January 15, 2010. No coupon code needed, just access the free gogo network inflight.

Oh Ryanair, stop tempting us with 1€ ($1.47) fares! Ryanair is advertising 1 euro flights until midnight on September 17, 2009 for many European routes. For example, I found a Porto (Portugal) to Milan (Italy) flight for October 15, 2009. However, they add 5 euros at checkout for payment handling, unfortunately, they won’t let you “not pay” so anyway you go about it, the flight will be 6 euros — or $8.81. Still, if you have a European vacation planned, it might be worth checking out to “jump” over to another country, cheaper than the train!

Extras breakdown:

1 checked bag: 10 euros extra (carry-on, people!)
1st on flight: 3 euros extra
