Celebrate Julia Child’s birthday at Sur La Table this Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11am, with free madeleines & cappuccino! They’ll be featuring “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” (only $20 on Amazon!).  I’m loving the renewed interest in all things Julia Child and French cooking because of the Julie & Julia movie (I’m currently reading the lovely My Life in France that I checked out from my local library).
