Saks Fifth Avenue is doing a Fekkai Shampoo Swap today, September 17, 2009 starting at 10am. Bring any full-sized shampoo — can be full or empty (I imagine they’ll throw them away, so go for an empty!) — to the beauty department.

Fekkai Advanced shampoo retails for $23, so this is quite a steal. Now, I’m not trying to be a Debby Downer here… but I really feel that it would have been pretty simple to create some good (and less waste!) with this promotion. For example, by having people bring full bottles and then donating them to a women’s shelter. I can’t imagine complaints from anyone on that. Maybe next year, Fekkai?
